"Tessellation" is a captivating interplay of shapes and colors that draws the eye. The term "tessellation" evokes notions of symmetry, precision, and artistic complexity, making it perfect for describing the unique and high-end patchwork pillows that I craft.
My venture into making Tessellation pillows was sparked during a visit the Bennison showroom in New York. Gregg Mitchell, the manager, shared a vintage photo of a patchwork pillow, reigniting my childhood passion. It was a nostalgic moment for me, as 35 years ago, I started my pillow-making business by creating and selling patchwork pillows.
Each pillow is crafted through hours of meticulously piecing together fabrics to form a harmonious design, respecting the direction of the pattern, warp, weft, and nap. They are a testament to my love for textile design and dedication to creating something aesthetically pleasing and distinctive.
